Herb Thompson has many years of hands-on experience utilizing Total Quality Management (TQM), Lean Principles, Toyota Production System (TPS) and Six Sigma to deliver exceptional results to his clients.  He was first exposed to TQM (Total Quality Management) in the early 90’s when the United States Army adopted the program and has since utilized that experience and training with large and small companies.  He has delivered exceptional results in multiple manufacturing and service industries.

Lean Workshops are designed to help organizations and individuals implement Lean Thinking and to develop core Lean skills. Organizations must have the discipline of using established principles, procedures and policies to manage a project from conception through completion. We take on the undertaking with a specific starting and ending parameters designed to produce a defined outcome, such as a new computer system.

Lean leaders set the vision, develop the culture, and measure the success. A Lean leader's job is to set the vision and develop the culture of the organization. Key performance indicators (KPIs) should be clear and should be something that can be measured.

Business-IT alignment is a dynamic state in which a business organization is able to use information technology (IT) to achieve business objectives - typically improved financial performance or marketplace competitiveness. However, alignment is not the sole responsibility of IT. Leadership teams also need to be aware of their IT resources, something they often neglect. Technology plays an important role in the competitiveness and agility of a business and can impact on the speed of response to market change.
